| The non homepage category columns set in admin do not display the correct number of columns when navigating directly from the home page..... They do display correctly of navigating from an area other than home page... |

OK.... This IS a little confusing but I'll try.... 
Go to http://www.planetclassified.com/cgi-bin/classified.cgi
The Home Page columns setup is 3 (nothing wrong here), Non Homepage columns setup is 4. From the homepage, before clicking anything else, click on Gallery, New, Going or Featured. You'll see 3 columns (Incorrect. should be 4).
Now, go back to the homepage and refresh. Click on Antiques and Collectibles. You'll see 4 columns (Correct). Now click again on Gallery, New, Going or Featured.... Now it displays the correct 4 columns.....
Clear as Mud, huh..... :?

Here how the Favorites | Gallery | New | Going | Featured works:
If you click on any link of the above from a location of none category, that's from the main page, from a search page, from any navigation page, it will assume the homepage rules, means it will start brwosing the main categories.
Now if you are browsing a specific category (cat_id > 0) it will apply the none homepage rules (i.e. no of culmns etc).
