Would it be possible for the announcements page to have an expiration date? That is, being able to run an announcement for a specified period of time? Once this period of time is up, the announcement would automatically be removed.

It can be done but will cost you around $200 and will require an upgrade script to be released for everyone. If you are interested email us.
