sort display problem |

Ahmed,\
\
On many pages, I see the following:\
Sort by: Photo | Title | Price | Bids | Time Left?lt;A HREF="http://novelbid.com/cgi-bin/auction/auction.cgi?action=Browse&Search=Category&Status=1&Sorted=1&Sort=E&Dir=1&Page=1&Cat_ID=1&Lang=English">\
\
It seems that whichever word is selected (i.e., Photo, Title, Price, etc), there is a long string of the cgi program content displayed right after that word. Is this a bug? How can I get rid of it?\
\
Also, there are a lot of "?lt;br>" displayed as well. How do I get rid of these?\
\
Thanks,\
\

Ahmed,\

I re-uploaded the listing template. However, it was still showing the same thing. You helped me install the site, and I haven't really made any change to it.\

I restored the original language file General. Still didn't work. Can I buy one hour custom program and have you fix this for me?\

Actually, I just checked your demo. Your demo has the same problem. Just click on "antiques & arts", and you will see what I am talking about.\

i don't see what you're talking about either so the problem must be within your computers operating system or browser. |

Ahmed,\

Thanks for your response. I couldn't get back to you on this because I was away for a couple of weeks for my new born son, but now I am back.\
\
Anyway, I have checked the demo on mewsoft.com with two computers of mine. Computer A displayed everything fine. Computer B displayed something funky. Attached please see image #1. I am not sure why my computer B is doing this. It is using the standard IE 6.0. Anyway, I believe this is a problem of my computer B (although it would be bad if there are thousands of people who have similar computers)\
I then tried to display the listing page on my site, and both computer displayed something even funkier. It looks like some of the "<" is replaced by "?It;". I am not sure how this happened. I tried to look for the corrupted code in the listing template as well as the classes, but I couldn't find where these corrupted "<"s might be. I don't think my listing template is corrupted (I looked thru it, and everything looks good. In addition, I have replaced it).\
Can you shed some light on where I can find this corrupted "<"?\
\
Thanks,\

I have found out the problem with my computer B. It has to do with the "encoding" inside my IE. This problem is going away now.\
\
However, I still need your help to identify where to change the "<" from "?It;" to fix all the "?It;" problem (this is what is causing the display to be giberish. I tried but couldn't find it.\
