SQL Error (Not connecting to local MySQL socket Edit Delete Reply with quote Quote

I am trying to access the menu options on the admin file and it is giving me the error message below every time I click on a menu link! SQL ERROR: SQL Error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) Query: DBI:mysql:database=classifieds;host=localhost;port=3306. Please tel me what this means and what I have to do to correct the problem.

Hello,

If you search this forum for this error you will find it many times,anyway, ask the hosting company to fix their sql server for this

error, the fix is on our website:
