We have successfully installed the latest Modern Perl 5.18.1 on our servers and all our products works much faster on the latest version of Perl.
All customers hosting with us on our servers can confirm this from inside their cpanel on the left you will find the Perl version information.
Almost all hosting companies are still installing and using Perl 5.8.8 (year 2006) as this is what cpanel comes with, but we have successfully installed
the latest Perl 5.18.1 from the source code and installed thousands of Perl modules and all Modern Perl modules.
