I remember reading how to turn off a required field in the posts somewhere. Can't find it now. My eyes are starting to hurt looking for it. Does anyone remember which post it was in. :shock: Cheers Hoss |

hi there Wannauseit. I want to turn off the minimum bid required in the sell item page and add a [[required]] to the buy it now. As I remember it was as simple as changing a 1 to a zero or something, but I can't find the post now. ps do you ever sleep? I worry about you. I've got a friend like that - I think he sleeps on a layer of grave dirt in a coffin. Seriously tho' any help would be appreciated. Cheers Hoss :?
Don't worry to much about this Wanna, I'll go thru methodically until I find it. I think its ~==~0 I'm bound to get to it. Just a matter of time. |

Try this...
Edit the file data/sysconfig.ini
User field~==~0 User field~==~1
1 , means required, 0 means not required, in general all the user fileds will be in this config file and the variables start with:
XXXXXXX~==~ 0 or 1
This file must be downloaded and uploaded in ASCII mode or it will stop the program to work. *** and backup copy of sysconfig.ini e.g. sysconfig.ini.bak before any changes |

Wannauseit thanx for the help ( and support as always) I think I'll propagate a rumour that you're allergic to Kryptonite and get changed in a phone booth. By the way in answer another post ( I think it was you, if not please excuse me) I've been having a look at PerlWiz.biz for an editor. Seems ok. Bearing in mind that I'm still a bit of a dunce with all of this, and it may yet turn out to be not what I really thought.
Hi Newbie. That's the thing I half remembered alright. You nailed it. I can mod my files now. Many thanx. May all of your chickens lay golden eggs so that you become incredibly wealthy.
Cheers to you both. Hoss
Update: curses, cant find that item in the config file - will scout around, it'll be somewhere.
